Capturing the Stunning Surf Moments of Mick Fanning, World’s No. 1 Surf Champion.

A few weeks ago, I was very fortunate to have met the World’s    No. 1 Surf Champion, Mick Fanning (Australia), Stephanie Gilmore, the Women’s Surf Champion (Australia) and other international surfers at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach.

These best-of-the-best surfers came to Sunway Lagoon with only one thing in mind – to Surf-Up… while their sponsor, RIP Curl took sequential photos of them surfing, especially for an above-the-line advertising campaign.

While the production crew were working on their ‘story board,’  I too took opportunity to take some photos for Sunway Lagoon.

In order to secure some dramactic angles with Sunway Lagoon Logo as background, I had to submerge myself in 5 1/2 feet high waves...

Trust me, the feelings of being totally absolutely drenched in water, does not know how to swim and even being slightly dragged away my original standing photographic position by some strong waves can somewhat be intimidating…

Note : The waves were at least 8 feet in height.
