Kah Peng practically went berzerk with the chilling cold fresh air at Kinabalu Park. The park is the landing base for all who wish to ascend to Mount Kinabalu, highest Mount in South East Asia.
When I was still schooling back in the days between 80's and 90's, whenever my teachers spoke about Borneo, the first thing that came into my mind was that 'people in Borneo literally stay on top of the trees or live in the caves or even make do with their life in make-shift long houses made of unwanted wood and bamboo, complimented by roof made of nipah leaves'.
We were also told that in Borneo, especially at Mount Kinabalu, Sabah, has the World's Largest Parasitic Flowering Plant, the Rafflesia - Without questioning further, I acknowledged my teachers' statements and placed it second to "God". No one shall QUESTION the teachers....!
Blue skies, Clean and Fresh air are somewhat part of Sabah's coastal 'trademark'.
Until I grew up and from trips to Sabah, I must admit that the land beneath the wind, Sabah, is not what I thought. The state which is located in East Malaysia or Borneo has so much to offer than what my teachers had taught.
Visitors to Sabah's coastal areas will completely forget about their city hustle and bustle.

Despite the unhygienic condition where the lotus flowers grow, these flowers are considered to the pure as it could 'eliminate' the dirt around them when blooming. A person who is free from all unhealthy evil thoughts or actions are considered as as pure as the lotus flowers.
