Do you hear the 'bells' ringing?

Yes, I have heard the bells ringing... not only once, not only twice, but it has been several times hearing it. The bells that we are talking are about Weddings... "The matrimonial reunion of two different individuals as One!"

With the advancement of technology and a drop of market price for Digital Single Lens Reflect (DSLR) cameras, it's just anyone and everyone on the roads can now claim to be a 'seasoned' photographer.

What more, with the all-time favourite terms like "PhotoJournalist", "Wedding Photojournalist", "Professional Photographer" etc, people are constantly and persistently without fail abused these terms.

Not only they abused the usage of these terms, some can even extend their so called professional services at wayyyyy below market price. Of course again, the ones who are already award winning deserve to wear the recognitions and stand by their brand positioning.

Fast forward, for those who are offering below market rates, it's actually not about the price that they could offer to the couple. The most important thing about wedding photography (since we are talking about wedding bells) is about how good they could capture that memorable moments for the couple. This is especially so important when the wedding is the First ONE AND ONLY BIG DAY in their LIFE!

Not to dwell into that too much, as a person who takes photos commercially as well as for publication purposes, there have been times  that I have been engaged to snap wedding photos - be it a Church wedding, Hindu wedding, Malay Wedding, Chinese wedding, garden wedding, beach wedding etc, I am compelled to deliver the best photos that I could.

For every click that I hit on my camera shutter button, it must be at least something that could allow the couple to 'flash back' to the sweet memories of their big day when flipped through my photos.

Not to crap too much about how good and how bad things are, I hope  that you would like the pics taken at a Church Wedding.

(You may wonder why are there no faces of the couple? In ensuring that my client's identity are kept, I am only uploading scenic photos).
